    My Week With Marilyn trailer. What do you think?

    I am so torn about this movie. While I think Michelle captures the physical essense of Marilyn in alot of ways- even her body language- there is something off about her portrayal. Of course I can’t judge fully until I see the whole film, but I kind of feel like there’s alot of vane superficality to her character. I’ve always said it’s near impossible to accurately portrary Marilyn because her entire physical beauty was created from her almost spiratural beauty- there was something about Marilyn that was not real. I think Michelle will probably go down as giving the most faithful portrayal of Marilyn, but I can also see this movie as pinning her down as another lovestruck dumb blonde girl, and she was SO far from that, and I’d hate to see that myth perpetuated. Hopefully, the movie will show more of the character than the trailer does.
